The
Illinois Student Chapter of the American
Association of Equine Practitioners is dedicated to the improvement
and evolution of equine veterinary medicine in the United States. The
mission of this association, at the University
of Illinois-College of Veterinary Medicine, shall be to enhance the educational opportunities of the professional
students at Illinois, to inform students about veterinary related problems
currently affecting the horse industry, and to promote the exchange of
professional knowledge among students and practitioners for the advancement
of equine health.
The activities include: a colic
team, the Resident
Equine Program, and Rolex.
