Withdrawal from the College of Veterinary Medicine
Students requesting withdrawal from the College of Veterinary Medicine will have their requests approved by the Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs. Students requesting withdrawal from the professional curriculum will be told that his/her only option for readmission to the CVM is by petition to the Scholastic Petitions Committee and readmission is not guaranteed and will only be granted if the student demonstrates compelling reasons which necessitated his/her withdrawal (e.g. intervening event beyond the control of the student), and further that with the petition for readmission, the student is able to demonstrate that he/she now has the capability to succeed in the program.
