Professional Interests:  Thyroid hormone physiology, pharmacology and toxicology; mechanisms of action of environmental thyroid hormone disrupting compounds on neurodevelopment; etiopathogenesis of hyperthyroidism in the cat; use of molecular genetic techniques for improvement of thyroid diagnostic tests in domestic animals; mechanisms of obesity, insulin resistance, and Type II diabetes mellitus in the cat model; veterinary clinical pharmacology.
