Come to the 2008 Veterinary Medicine Open House
The state’s only veterinary college--one of only 28 veterinary schools in the United States--will open its doors to the public on Saturday, April 5, from 9 am to 4 pm.
The College of Veterinary Medicine, located at 2001 South Lincoln Avenue in Urbana, Illinois, is easy to find.
This event is FREE annd open to the public. No registration is necessary.
Please note: Visitors to Open House are not allowed to bring their animals with them. Only animals that have been approved to be part of the exhibits may attend.
Important Information About Your Visit:
- Visitors who have been outside the United States since March 22, 2008, will be asked to check in at the Welcome Tent before entering the Veterinary Teaching Hospital so that students can assess whether they might pose a risk of spreading a foreign animal disease. This measure helps us ensure the health and safety of Illinois animals and follows hospital policy.
- Visitors are not allowed to bring their own animals.
