Theriogenology

Bovine ReproductionTheriogenology is the study of animal reproduction.

A theriogenologist is a veterinarian who studies the anatomy and physiology of male and female reproduction on a herd or flock basis. He or she may use techniques such as artificial insemination or embryo transfer.

A theriogenologist can also deliver babies (foals, calves) and help them get healthy when they are sick. The Open House theriogenology booth will have lots of things to explore to learn more about reproduction of large and small animals. There will be equipment and different reproductive tracts for the public to learn more about.
