SHORT BIO:

Paul Eubig entered the NIEHS Environmental Toxicology Training Program in August 2006. His primary research foci will be on the effects of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) on the developing nervous system in rodents and the behavioral consequences of such effects. PCBs and PBDEs are ubiquitous environmental contaminants. Paul completed his MS degree in Veterinary Biosciences in December based on research with NMR spectroscopy evaluating the metabolic profile in cultured skin equivalents. He completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1993 from the University of Georgia, became an experienced clinical toxicologist during his time at the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center since 2000, and was certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology in 2005.
