EMERGING DISEASES


Summary

This course is an in-depth look into the West Nile virus in the United States, featuring the latest statistical, geographical, information on the spread of the disease. Modules cover types of infection and transmission of the disease in both animals and humans. Symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention are taught for those most affected by the disease including dogs and cats, birds, and horses. Module is open to veterinarians and licensed, registered or certified veterinary technicians.
