Annual Dog Jog
Despite a downpour
on Sunday, September 10, the first annual Dog Jog of the Chicago Veterinary
Medical Association was a big success. Nearly 500 people came to Chicago's
Montrose Harbor to participate and raise money for the LifeLink Endowment,
a fund to help pet owners on fixed incomes pay for veterinary care at
the College's Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
More than 15 CVMA
members helped run the Dog Jog.
Cornelia
Wallis Honchar (left), who established the fund, introduced CVMA president
Dr. John Cirabassi ('84) to a King Charles spaniel during the race.
